Large-scale exhibitions feature concentrated instantaneous passenger flow, flexible event schedules and a complex mix of personnel, making generic ticketing systems difficult to adapt.

Project Pain Points

Ticket checking under peak-hour pressure easily causes entrance congestion: Passenger flow peaks the moment the exhibition opens, with over 20,000 daily admissions and ten continuous operating hours a day. During peak periods, 4,000–5,000 people pour in at once; manual verification is inefficient, and paper-ticket or QR-code checking easily leads to long queues, affecting the visitor experience.

Exhibitions are highly temporary, making investment in fixed equipment uneconomical: Event venues are not fixed, traditional fixed turnstiles cannot be relocated, equipment reuse is low, and relocation and retrofitting costs run as high as 30%–40% of the initial investment.

A wide variety of personnel and ticket types make fine-grained permission management difficult: General visitors, exhibitors, media, VIPs and staff enter in parallel, with differentiated access permissions across groups, which standardized systems cannot accommodate.
